Sign up and discover our e-books in French, German, and English, thousands of magazines and international newspapers (for young and old) as well as tutorials on subjects ranging from design to sports, and coding.
In order to facilitate the access to the 620,000 e-books, 77,800 e-journals, and 390 databases, the BnL has set up a simplified registration process so that those who do not yet have a membership card can sign up and those whose membership is expired can renew their subscription.
Registering via email:
Anyone who is at least 14 years old and who is a resident of Luxembourg or one of its bordering countries may register with the BnL. To register, please download this form, available in three languages, fill it out, and send it to inscription@bnl.etat.lu. This email address can also be used if you wish to renew your membership. You will receive, by email, a reader’s number and a link to create a password.
Accessing the digital collections:
The digital collections can be accessed using the search engine www.a-z.lu, or the following two sites: www.ebooks.lu and www.eluxemburgensia.lu.
